This Act substantially revamped the Illinois Renewable Portfolio Standard to include new procurements and programs administered by the Illinois Power Agency.Īs part of the implementation of this Act, the Agency developed an Initial Long-Term Renewable Resources Procurement Plan in 2017 which was finalized in 2018. Public Act 99-0906 (the "Future Energy Jobs Act") took effect on June 1, 2017.
